Applicant will be excited to be in the classroom with Preschoolers and have a PASSION for children and the life they bring to the classroom. The applicant will be able to work as a team, attend meetings, trainings, and other center functions. Applicant will conduct home visits, conferences, and take observation notes throughout the school year.
The applicant will also remain current in all state requirements required by law- First Aid, CPR, and all training hours; completes 24 hours of professional development yearly.

Qualifications:
Lead Teacher’s must meet GSRP qualifications upon hire. A Lead Teacher will be considered credentialed for the position with ANY of the following:
A valid Michigan teaching certificate and an Early Childhood Education (ZA) or Early Childhood-General and Special Education (ZS) endorsement or PK-3 endorsement; or
A bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or child development with a specialization in preschool teaching. The transcript will document a major, rather than a minor; in child development or early childhood education.
Be at least 19 years of age
CPR, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogen certified or obtain upon hire
Have knowledge of the Highscope Curriculum and COR preferred but not required.
