We are looking for a Paraprofessional that is excited to work as a team in a team-approach atmosphere! The applicant should have a PASSION for children and enjoy the life they bring to the classroom. The applicant will work with the teaching team to help establish a daily routine, plan daily activities and create meaningful lesson plans for the children. This applicant may also work our Friday care class if needed. The applicant will attend all meetings, conferences, trainings, and all center functions set by the center and GSRP. The applicant will remain current in state requirements required by law including, but not limited to First Aid/CPR, and their 24 hours of professional development yearly.

Qualifications:
A Paraprofessional teacher must have one of the following:
MUST have a high school diploma or GED;
Possess 18 CEUs in early childhood, a CDA or an Associate’s degree in early childhood education or child development (you may be working on your CDA or your Associate’s to qualify)
Be at least 19 years of age
CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogen certified or obtain upon hire
Have knowledge of the Highscope Curriculum and COR preferred but not required
